About the Centre for the Study of New Security Challenges.

The Centre for the Study of New Security Challenges (CSNSC) is a forward-thinking research and consultancy organisation dedicated to exploring and addressing the evolving landscape of global security threats. With roots in both the United Kingdom and Hungary, we provide a unique, cross-regional perspective that enriches our understanding of modern security dynamics.

Our work spans rigorous research, practical training, and innovative development projects, all aimed at equipping governments, institutions, organisations and civic society with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate complex security environments. Through simulation-based training and cutting-edge analysis, we help sharpen strategic decision-making in an unpredictable world.

CSNSC is also committed to fostering dialogue and knowledge sharing, notably through our think tank AI Forum, which has hosted conferences and published work that explores the impact of AI on society across a number of key societal functions, ranging from security to education. This platform attracts leading experts to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities in AI-enabled security. Our newest initiative, launching late 2025, will look at the emerging challenges and opportunities within the realm of AI and societal security.

Beyond events, we actively contribute to education and policy development, exemplified by our involvement in projects like the Hybrid Warfare Curriculum and associated handbook for a master’s course, sponsored by the EU’s Erasmus program and in cooperation with a number of European educational partners. At CSNSC, we combine expertise with imagination to develop practical solutions that respond to the new security challenges of our time.
